Weeks back Hayet asked me to join her Nike Plus Squad, a crew of bad ass babes modeling some of the latest Nike Plus Size pieces at the Nike Store on The Mag Mile here in Chicago. The event was the first time EVER that Nike had a plus size event in store and we had a blast.
My look: Running Tights, top & Nike Air Max Running Shoes (c/o Nike) | Denim Jacket: Rainbow

There was a great crowd of women of all sizes and we danced, drank, shopped and had the most fun. In addition to being the location of the first Nike plus size event, The Michigan Avenue store is also the first Nike store to have a plus size section and considering how the ladies showed up and how much interest there was in the pieces, it should definitely not be the last.
Shout out to Hayet, who continues to push herself and brands to think bigger and inspire women to own every aspect of there lives.
p.s: I wore the Nike Legendary Running Tights again this weekend when I hoped to get back another 5K run under my belt but had a major issue with my right leg so I couldn't run. But I still showed up and limped/walked my way to the finish line. I realized when I was on my way to the 5K that I was literally dressed head to toe in Nike because I was also wearing the Nike Running Top that I purchased from Macy's and have had for years. It's one of those pieces that I always reach for when I am working out outside and need a layer. And I was also wearing one of the several pairs of Nike kicks (the pair featured here) that I own.
