Hey Delights!
It has been getting colder and colder in Chicago with temps dropping to single digits some days, so suffice it to say, winter is definitely here. And while I am obsessed with skin care all year round, I definitely take my moisture game up a few notches to keep dry, itchy skin at bay during these cold winter months.
Meditating first thing in the morning has become a daily ritual for me. And I like to carry that zen mojo with me throughout the morning by following up my meditation with some self care, me time in the shower. So I create a spa like vibe by lighting some candles and playing soft music. And I love lavishing myself with body cleansers that not only clean but also smell good and it’s a major bonus if they leave my skin moisturized in the process.
So for a couple of weeks now, I have taken the Olay Winter Skin Challenge and have been using their Olay Moisture Ribbons Plus body washes. I love how they smell and the foamy lather from them feels rich and decadent and they leave my skin so soft.
Olay Moisture Ribbons Plus contains one of the best moisturizers for dry skin, shea butter. Olay combines it with either Manuka honey or lavender oil and cleaners to create this unique ribbon of moisture love for your skin. I use the Manuka honey version in the morning and since lavender is so great for helping you relax, I like to use the lavender oil version at night. I squeeze a little on one of my puffs and it creates the softest, foamiest lather. It definitely takes my showers from just basic necessities to more of a luxurious experience.
Winter has just begun and I am putting up the good fight against it's drying effects and you should too! Join me for the Olay Winter Skin Challenge and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how hydrated your skin will feel from using these body washes.
Thanks Olay!
